Fire Wise Garden Pavilion Under Construction!

With a generous donation from the Wolf Creek Cattle Company and volunteer efforts from Abraham Construction, the construction of the Sonny Stiger Memorial Pavilion is underway!  As the founding member of TCFSWG, Sonny dedicated his professional wildfire career to raising awareness about wildfire safety and prevention.  He promoted hazardous fuels mitigation and home hardening principles to property owners living in the wildland urban interface.  When completed, the pavilion will demonstrate how ignition resistant building materials can help reduce a home’s chance of ignition from direct flame, firebrand showers, and radiant heat.
